A lively, interactive workshop that explores the creative opportunities that diversity offers to programme makers and inspires you to:
- Build a richer understanding of what diversity means in broadcasting and the opportunities to bring less-heard voices into the mainstream of radio
- Identify 7 key pathways to creativity through diversity
- Learn practical tips for generating original ideas both inside the training room and out in the streets
- Gain confidence in developing and pitching successful programme ideas that are enriched by diversity
Venue: Oxford House, a community and arts centre just off Bethnal Green High Street. The venue is wheelchair accessible and benefits from natural daylight and a lovely view over Weavers’ Fields. It is situated in a vibrant multicultural area of Tower Hamlets which has witnessed centuries of different migrant settlement from Huguenots and Jews to Bangladeshis and Somalis.
